About Us
Heritage Days on the Goshen Trail
P.O. BOX 1334 ALTON, IL 62002
Heritage Days on the Goshen Trail is sponsored by Alton Heritage Days Inc., a non-profit organization. Our goal is to educate the public in the customs, manners, clothing, food and tools used by the early settlers from 1700-1840. Throughout the year many of the traditional artisans who participate in our annual festival also assist us through our Speakers' Bureau - The Time Travelers - by giving presentations to schools. It is due to the efforts of members who help prior to, during and after Heritage Days that makes every year a success.
